I've recently told you about quite a few survey companies (here and here). Now I have ANOTHER one to remind you about.

Surveys.com is an Online Research Community operated by GfK. GfK is a top-ten market research company, uniting some of the most renowned US and European research firms into a single global organization.

The purpose of the Surveys.com Online Community is to provide reliable and accurate information to business leaders and government officials about the products and services they provide consumers. By joining their Consumer Panel you will be in a position to contribute to the decision-making process, plus you will be rewarded for your thoughts and insights with points and other rewards. All you need to do is provide a few details about yourself (it takes just a couple minutes) and periodically you'll be asked to answer a questionnaire that will be sent to your email account. For each questionnaire that you participate in, you will earn points good towards a large selection of rewards. The more surveys you participate in, the more points you'll earn!

Ditching the Sponge This summer I accomplished something I once thought unthinkable: I gave up the sponge. It was a gripping addiction, harder to kick than a nasty nicotine habit. ...a habit that had the ability to spar k the silliest of arguments amongst even the best of roomies. Right, SwimBikeMom ? :P But once again, I digress; that's a blog for another day. Perhaps a tad OCD, I was one of *those* people who had a sponge designated for various parts of the kitchen: one for the floor, one for the counters, and another one for dishes. I knew for quite some time that sponges were a breeding ground for all things disgusting; however, I was not keen on the idea of using paper towels, or other disposable products -- I had to find a GREEN alternative to sponges.
