REVISED: Target Huggies or Pampers Deal

I must revise yesterday's post from, regarding the diaper deal at Target.  What I failed to realize was that the Target printables are manufacture coupons; thus, you may not combine them with the SmartSource coupon, too.

My apologies for the error -- and thanks to the anonymous commenter for making me aware of it.  :o)

It's still get a good deal, when you combine it with the right coupons.  Plus, you can use any of those high value Pampers $3.00 coupons, if you've been lucky enough to obtain them.

Buy 3 packs of Huggies at $8.99 each        $26.97
Use 3 printable Target $3.00 coupons*                  -9.00  (look for "baby" under "coupon categories")
Use 3 printable SmartSource $1.50 coupons         - 4.50
                                                                                     $17.97  plus get a $5 giftcard

                                                                                    (That's $5.99 per pack.)

Repeat for a 2nd transaction, using the same coupons, and using the $5 giftcard, and you'll pay $12.97 for 3 packs.  ...and you'll walk away with ANOTHER $5 giftcard!

In sum, you can walk away with 6 packages of diapers for $30.94  -- that's about $5.17 per pack.

...and thus, my not-so-secret love affair with Target continues!!  Now y'all go stock up on diapers! :o)

* - You may only print 2 coupons through Target's website.  Thus, in order to get 6 coupons, you must get creative.  Remember, it is UNETHICAL to make copies of printable coupons; however, you can always borrow your neighbor's printer, your work's printer, your spouses' work printer, etc.  Get creative --just do so ethically.  :o)

Ditching the Sponge

Ditching the Sponge This summer I accomplished something I once thought unthinkable: I gave up the sponge.  It was a gripping addiction, harder to kick than a nasty nicotine habit.   ...a habit that had the ability to spar k the silliest of arguments amongst even the best of   roomies.  Right, SwimBikeMom ?  :P  But once again, I digress; that's a blog for another day. Perhaps a tad  OCD, I was one of *those* people who had a sponge designated for various parts of the kitchen: one for the floor, one for the counters, and another one for dishes.  I knew for quite some time that sponges were a breeding ground for all things disgusting; however, I was not keen on the idea of using paper towels, or other disposable products -- I had  to find a GREEN alternative to sponges.
