ClipZone - An Awesome Coupon App!

Thanks to a hot lead, I am super-excited to share with you ClipZone. It's an iPhone App, but it's also a website, so you can access it even -gasp!- without an iPhone. (Coming soon for Droid and HTC Touch.)

ClipZone is a free service that allows you to "store" coupons to local places on your phone. It's local to Atlanta, and enables you to search, "clip", and store in your account's "coupon pouch" (cute, right?). You can then use a coupon at your convenience.

Coupons are categorized by apparel, automotive, food/beverages, and entertainment. You can search by neary-by locations, by retailer, or by category. So far, I give it two thumbs way up!

Tonight, we are trying it out at Dog Days Hot Dogs in Norcross. (When you're married to a Chicago native, you don't pass up a free Chicago-style hot dog! Yummm!) I'll let y'all know how the experience goes! :o)

Ditching the Sponge This summer I accomplished something I once thought unthinkable: I gave up the sponge. It was a gripping addiction, harder to kick than a nasty nicotine habit. ...a habit that had the ability to spar k the silliest of arguments amongst even the best of roomies. Right, SwimBikeMom ? :P But once again, I digress; that's a blog for another day. Perhaps a tad OCD, I was one of *those* people who had a sponge designated for various parts of the kitchen: one for the floor, one for the counters, and another one for dishes. I knew for quite some time that sponges were a breeding ground for all things disgusting; however, I was not keen on the idea of using paper towels, or other disposable products -- I had to find a GREEN alternative to sponges.
